NYCxDESIGN Returns with Annual Design Festival November 11-18 and Special 10th Anniversary Edition May 10-20, 2022
WHAT: NYCxDESIGN’s annual Design Festival will return next month from November 11-18 followed by the Festival’s 10th Anniversary Edition, which will be held from May 10-20, 2022. After an extended hiatus, the Festival will safely reconnect NYC’s expansive design community with the public, showcasing how design can rebuild, reimagine, and shape the city’s renewal in ways that bring more equity, access and inclusion to bear. Working closely with the Festival’s anchor tradeshows, ICFF, WantedDesign Manhattan, BDNY and strategic partners, NYCxDESIGN is thrilled to support the immense talent and diversity of the city’s designers, makers, and manufacturers, along with cutting-edge design businesses and districts, and leading cultural and academic institutions through its programming. With 100+ events celebrating design, innovation, creativity, culture, inclusivity, sustainability and resiliency, the Festival underscores New York City as the destination for world-class design.

The public is invited to plan their journey for the upcoming November 2021 Festival at festival.nycxdesign.org. With this new website, visitors can explore the 100+ events hosted across the five boroughs, from design talks and exhibitions to tours and installations.

NYCxDESIGN Festival: 10th Anniversary Edition — May 10-20, 2022
Event registration for the May 2022 Festival will open in late November 2021. Event organizers are invited to start planning their participation in the 10th Anniversary edition now.
- Anchor shows including ICFF, WantedDesign, and Design Pavilion will return in 2022 as part of the Festival.
